Connecting to personal/department spaces

1. From Finder, got to the Go-Connect to Server.
2. In the address field, type one of the following:
   • Personal Network space type: smb://elda.lawrence.edu/your department acronym/
   • Department share type: smb://elda.lawrence.edu/your department acronym/
   • Campus Share type: smb://curtis.lawrence.edu/campus_share
3. Click the "+" plus button.
4. Then click Connect.
5. Enter your LU Network username and password at the prompt.

Note: Create a shortcut to your own user folder by selecting it and clicking File – Add to Sidebar.

Note II: To reconnect in the future, click your user folder in the Sidebar.

Please remember to close files and eject the network drives before putting your computer to sleep or you may corrupt your files.

Connect to Personal space:

1. To connect to your personal network folder click the folder on the desktop with your name on it.

Connect to department space:

1. From the desktop click on the Computer icon.
2. Click on the X drive - share

Connect to Campus share:

1. From the desktop click on the Computer icon.
2. Click on the U drive - Class_Share
