There are many paths to a college degree and Lawrence is committed to supporting you in achieving that goal.

Lawrence welcomes transfer applications to our college of Liberal Arts and Sciences and Conservatory of Music. You are considered a transfer student if you have attempted 12 or more college credits after graduating high school or if you have an associate of science or arts degree.

How to Apply

We accept the Common Application or the Lawrence Application with no preference for one over the other. Lawrence University does not charge an application fee.

Lawrence offers scholarships of up to $32,000 especially for transfer students.

Our counselors work with you to provide a transfer credit evaluation.

You are also encouraged to review all audition guidelines and frequently asked questions.

Additional Requirements for International Transfer Students

International transfer applicants are required to submit these additional items. Students applying to the Conservatory must also complete the items listed in the Conservatory of Music above.

Foreign College Credit Evaluation

Students transferring from, or who attended, a university outside of the United States must include an official reviewed college transcript for each school from outside the United States. These evaluations may be completed by Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) or World Education Services (WES).
