International Events

International Student Services sponsors or promotes various international events on campus.  To be added to the electronic mailing list, please contact internationalhouse@lawrence.edu.  In addition to the annual events co-sponsored by ISS, Lawrence departmental and student groups coordinate a wide variety of international presentations, performances and events throughout the university.  The ISS event list is not exhaustive, so please check the Lawrence Calendar for additional current events occurring throughout campus.

The Lawrence International (LI) student organization coordinates an annual spring performance featuring music, dance, and fashion from around the globe.  More information is available at the LI Cabaret Page.

The annual family-friendly celebration of the Lunar New Year features multicultural activities and a photo booth where attendees can try on traditional outfits.  Past celebrations have included guest performances representing a wide variety of Asian cultures and ethnicities.  Free and open to the public.
