General Information
In order to select housing, students MUST complete ALL the steps below:
Step 1: Be certain your student account is paid and does not have a hold (balance greater than $300).
Step 2: Complete your housing application in the Housing Portal by Monday, May 2nd at 12:00pm.
Step 3: Complete advance registration online for your 2022-2023 courses
Housing Selection is a two-part process. Once Part 1 and all other steps above are complete, you will be assigned a lottery number and timeslot which will allow you to complete Part 2 during your designated date and time.
Part 1 - Housing Applications: Submit your housing application in the Housing Portal (available April 4th and due by May 2nd at 12:00pm). This will allow for a computer-generated lottery number to be assigned to each student who has submitted an application. Lottery numbers will be sent via email after the application deadline has passed.
Part 2 - Room Selection: Pick your room. Based on your lottery number and desired room type (quad, triple, double, single) you will be assigned a timeslot that allows you to view available rooms and select the exact room that you will live in next year. If you are picking a single you will select for yourself. If you are picking a quad, triple, or double then one roommate with the best lottery number will select the room for all roommates (make sure that a roommate group is formed in the Housing Portal before the time of room selection).
Lottery Numbers:
- Rising Seniors: 2000-2999
- Rising Juniors: 3000-3999
- Rising Sophomores: 4000-4999
*Only students who will be on campus for all three terms of the 22-23 academic year will receive the above lottery numbers, students who will be off campus for one or more terms will receive a lottery number in the 5000 range
- Rising Seniors Off Campus: 5000-5300
- Rising Juniors Off Campus: 5301-5600
- Rising Sophomores Off Campus: 5601-5999
