Housing Information for Off-Campus Study Students

You've likely found this page because you may be studying abroad/off-campus (or residing in a group or small house) for one or more terms next year. Below you will find some information regarding the housing process for study abroad/off-campus (or group or small house) students.

Only students who will be on campus for all three terms of the 22-23 academic year will receive a lottery number in the 2000, 3000, and 4000 range. Students who will be off campus for one or more terms will receive a lottery number in the 5000 range

Rising Seniors Off Campus: 5000-5300
Rising Juniors Off Campus: 5301-5600
Rising Sophomores Off Campus: 5601-5999

Students participating in Off-Campus Study will select at the end of housing selection.  We open up room selection to students who are unable to fill the room all three terms at the end of housing selection by assigning a 5000 range lottery number and corresponding time slot to all students who will be off campus for one or more terms. If there are no additional rooms left during those 5000 range time slots, don’t panic. You are guaranteed housing and our office will work with you to find a room over the summer of during the term prior to your return to campus.
