About The Lawrentian

The Lawrentian has been our student newspaper since 1884 and is the community’s premier source of news. The Lawrentian is entirely student run and students are provided with this paper at no charge. The newspaper provides information on campus happenings: student and faculty achievements, administrative decisions, curriculum changes, visiting lecturers and artists, sporting events, and many more of the issues and events that shape your student’s college experience. It further serves as a forum for members of the community to engage in dialogue.

The Lawrentian publishes 24 regular issues per year, and we would be delighted to send it your way through our subscription service. Your subscription supports a deserving cause here at Lawrence. We provide student employment to more than 80 students annually. We also use subscription income to support educational workshops and training opportunities that serve as the only formal training for our staff. More importantly, we provide a way for our community to come together, to share ideas and opinions, and to learn from one another.

We always appreciate your input and hope you enjoy The Lawrentian.
