Enrollment & Diversity Data

We report students enrolled as of fall census date on the IPEDS Fall Enrollment Survey, which is due in spring (April) each year. For Fall 2009 and earlier, race/ethnicity was reported under old IPEDS categories and are not applicable to race/ethnicity groupings graphs referenced directly below. To protect the identity of individuals, groupings are reported. Underserved includes American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Black or African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander, and Two or More Races. If you are interested in details for each race/ethnicity category they are included in the Student Data (2000 - 2021) (PDF) below.

The following graph is based on total enrollment.

Intercollegiate Athletics

The Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) Survey is an annual report submitted by coeducational institutions that participate in Title IV (the federal student financial aid program) and have a set of intercollegiate athletics programs.  The report overviews Lawrence’s commitment to providing equitable opportunities for men’s and women’s intercollegiate athletics teams. The information includes varsity athletics participation rates, coaching demographics, and financial data.

The data submitted to the United States Department of Education (DOE) for the annual EADA can be accessed at the Equity in Athletics Data Analysis website.

Institutions are required to make this report available to campus community members including students, prospective students and the public by October 15 each year in order to comply with DOE regulations. If you wish to obtain a paper copy of these documents please contact us at (920) 832-6760.

Voting Data

Along with nearly 1,200 higher education institutions, Lawrence participates in the National Study of Learning, Voting, and Engagement, which tracks voter registration and participation rates for presidential and midterm elections among students who were eligible to vote. Each institution receives a tailored report.
