The Financial Aid Office will determine your Federal Direct Loan eligibility after reviewing your FAFSA.

Federal Direct Loan Program

The Federal Direct Loan program includes the Federal Direct Subsidized Loan and the Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan. Generally, eligibility for a Subsidized Direct Loan is based on two things: 1) your FAFSA EFC and 2) the amount of grants and scholarships you receive. Additional Loan Options

If you need additional assistance to pay for school, there are three additional loan options:

  1. Private Student Loan
    Private Student Loan is in the student's name and will likely require a cosigner in order to be approved. Click here to search for Private Student Loan options and to apply online.
  2. Federal Parent PLUS Loan
    As a parent of a college student, you can obtain a Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan (also commonly referred to as the Parent PLUS Loan). Unlike a federal student loan, the parent is the borrowerClick here to learn more and to apply for a Parent PLUS Loan.
  3. Private Parent Loan
