Lawrence and the Fox Valley have thrived together—sharing goals, values and a commitment to collaboration. Lawrence University has been a vibrant part of the Fox Cities community fabric, in fact, for over 160 years.

Lawrence and the community have an important relationship—a mutually beneficial partnership that, in every way, is greater than the sum of its parts. Local businesses support and strengthen Lawrence by giving to The Lawrence Fund through the Corporate Partnership Program; by providing students with valuable opportunities for internships; and by partnering with Lawrence’s Volunteer and Community Service Center to create volunteering opportunities for students.

Lawrence, meanwhile, continues fostering a healthy and dynamic community: Lawrence students, staff and faculty, for example, commit hundreds of volunteer and community service hours each year, while Lawrence also makes numerous educational and cultural events—films, plays, lectures, concerts—open and often free to the public.

And every year, Lawrence celebrates these fantastic collaborations in the Report to the Community. Please also visit the university's Community page to learn more about Lawrence in the community.
